BP003844: Biotinylated Human FGF21 Protein with the N-mFc-Avi Tag
Source: The recombinant Biotinylated Human FGF21 Protein, (amino acids His29-Ser209) fused with a mFc-Avi tag at the N-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight:The recombinant Biotinylated Human FGF21 protein with the mFc-Avi tag at the N-terminus has a predicted MW of 46.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 55-65 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Activity: Immobilized recombinant Biotinylated Human FGF21 protein with the N-mFc-Avi tag at 5 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the streptavidin precoated plate (5 ug/ml). Dose response curve for the recombinant Human Beta Klotho protein with the N-His tag with the EC50 of 0.71 ug/ml determined by ELISA.
Purity: >95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin Level: Less than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Biotinylated Human FGF21 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
Shipping: The recombinant Biotinylated Human FGF21 Protein is shipped with ice pack. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
